May 6, 2002: Ray Nagin becomes 60th mayor of New Orleans. Greg Meffert named chief technology officer.
Nov. 27, 2002: Nagin's oldest son, Jeremy, 18, arrested in New York City and charged with grand larceny, forgery and other felonies in credit card ID-theft scheme.
June 24, 2004: Mayor signs executive order canceling bid process for technology services, allowing them to be awarded using a state purchasing schedule. 
Aug. 30, 2004: NetMethods formed by city technology vendor Mark St. Pierre to do business outside of New Orleans City Hall. St. Pierre gives corporate credit card to Meffert, which he would use to charge $130,000 over two years.
Late December 2004: Nagins and Mefferts go to Hawaii. Records show NetMethods pays for travel for both families.
Jan. 31, 2005: Nagin forms Stone Age LLC for his sons, Jeremy and Jarin.
November 2005: According to Meffert, St. Pierre lines up a private jet to take the Nagins to Jamaica, but Nagin isn't sure of travel dates, so Meffert gives his NetMethods credit card to Nagin's secretary, who purchases first-class commercial airline tickets for the Nagin family.
Early 2006-August 2006: St. Pierre allegedly provides lawn maintenance services worth about $1,500 for Nagin's home on Park Island.
March 2006: City vendor Frank Fradella pushes Anthony Leeber Jr. out of a subsidiary, which Leeber alleges allowed Fradella to take Leeber's granite and send it to Nagin's Stone Age LLC in 2007.
May 8, 2006: Mayor has campaign fundraiser in Chicago hosted by St. Pierre and others. Records show St. Pierre paid for Nagin's airfare.
June 1, 2006: Nagin sworn in for second term.
July 8, 2006: Mayor has re-election victory cruise on Silicon Bayou, a yacht owned by St. Pierre and his partners.
July 14, 2006: Meffert pays St. Pierre for crime cameras; on same day, steps down as Nagin's tech chief and takes consulting gig with St. Pierre.
Aug. 7, 2006: Nagin campaign pays Meffert $1,200 for cruise.
October 2006: Aaron Bennett and partners sell construction company to Frank Fradella's Home Solutions of America. Home Depot negotiates with Nagin administration to buy streets, get tax breaks to build store in Central City. Community groups demand that Home Depot hire local workers at above-average pay rates.
Jan. 20, 2007: Aaron Bennett provides mayor with private jet leased by a subsidiary of Fradella's Home Solutions of America to take Nagin, Meffert, Bennett, others to Chicago for Saints-Bears NFC Title Game.
Jan. 21, 2007: Bears beat Saints, 39-14, to go to Super Bowl XLI. Private jet takes Nagin crew to Las Vegas, where Bennett introduces Nagin to Fradella. Bennett says Fradella might help Nagins get granite installation deal with Home Depot. During flight, Meffert allegedly advises Nagin to hire Anthony Jones as new city tech chief.
Jan. 22, 2007: Upon return to New Orleans, Bennett says, 'I'm golden with City Hall now.' City hires Benetech to no-work job paying St. Pierre for technology office work.
Jan. 29, 2007: Project manager for Home Depot store sends email asking about Nagin's phone call to Home Depot CEOFrank Blake, in which mayor promises to 'help (Home Depot) with the community groups causing (Home Depot) problems.'
Feb. 1, 2007: Nagin meets with Home Depot executives at Stone Age.
Feb. 19, 2007: Nagin meets with Fradella.
March 15, 2007: Nagin administration tells community groups that there will be no local hiring requirements for Central City Home Depot.
April 4, 2007: Stone Age gets state home improvement license and almost immediately gets exclusive granite installation contract at four Home Depot stores.
June 6, 2007: Nagin meets with Michael Samuel and Frank Fradella, apparently about Market Street power plant.
Jan. 31, 2008: Katrina construction subcontractor Rodney Williams, president of Three Fold Consultants, allegedly pays three checks to Stone Age totaling $60,000. Almost immediately, Nagin selects Three Fold as vendor for public works and capital projects. Three Folds' contracts balloon into more than $3 million worth of no-bid work for Nagin administration.
April 4, 2008: Stone Age's state license expires, is not renewed and Home Depot ends deal with company.
April 17-Nov. 17, 2008: Nagin meets at least nine times with Fradella. When WWL sues to force mayor to release calendar, all meetings with Fradella are initially blacked out. Judge forces Nagin to disclose.
June 2008: Fradella's firm Home Solutions of America pays affiliated company $50,000, which in turn allegedly pays Nagin $50,000 in exchange for purported ownership in Stone Age. Williams allegedly pays Stone Age another $2,250.
July 21, 2009:Williams allegedly makes $10,000 cash payment to Jeremy and Jarin Nagin. In return, firm owned by Williams gets purported ownership share in Stone Age.
May 3, 2010: Nagin's last day as mayor.
May 18, 2010: Stuart 'Neil' Fisher, part owner of Market Street power plant, writes email to partner stating that Michael Samuel is pushing 'former Mayor Ray Nagin' for a deal to sell and develop the plant. 'Nagin of course would get a piece,' Fisher writes.
Aug. 20, 2010: Samuel becomes CEO of Green Energy Management Services, GEM.
Aug. 30, 2010: GEM pays Nagin $90,000 in stock and signs him to a $12,500-a-month consulting agreement, records show.
Nov. 1, 2010: Meffert pleads guilty to conspiracy, filing false tax return. He goes on to testify against St. Pierre. His sentencing has been delayed several times so he can testify against Nagin.
Dec. 15, 2010: Anthony Jones pleads guilty to accepting $22,000 in payoffs from St. Pierre to make sure St. Pierre was paid on time.
May 26, 2011: St. Pierre is convicted on 53 federal corruption counts, including conspiracy to bribe Meffert with $860,000 in kickbacks and bribing Jones with $22,000, for which he is sentenced to 171/2 years in prison.
Oct. 14, 2011: Aaron Bennett pleads guilty to bribing former Plaquemines Parish sheriff. His sentencing has been pushed back several times so he can testify against Nagin and others.
April 19, 2012: St. Pierre is moved from federal prison in Fort Worth, Texas, to a state lockup in St. Charles Parish so he can testify against Nagin, potentially lighten sentence.
June 27, 2012: Fradella pleads guilty to securities fraud and conspiracy to bribe 'Public Official 'A,'' otherwise known to be Nagin. Plea agreement states that Fradella funneled $50,000 to Public Official A, gave him truckloads of free granite and gave him a $10,000-a-month consulting gig after he left office.
Dec. 5, 2012: Rodney Williams pleads guilty to making $72,250 in payoffs to granite business owned by 'Public Official 'A'' and to official's close family members, all in exchange for city contracts awarded by Nagin. Also pleads guilty to trying to hide the conspiracy by accepting bogus ownership of countertop business.
January 18, 2013:Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin indicted on federal corruption counts.
