HOUMA, La. – Authorities said most of Houma is without power Tuesday night after a marine vessel pulled down the main electrical line to the area.
On Terrebonne Parish's Emergency Preparedness page, officials said Entergy and the parish is working on diverting power from the substation in Coteau to the power plant in Houma.
There is currently no time frame on when power will be restored, but officials said the parish's emergency Facebook page is the best place for updates.
