NEW ORLEANS — Endangered pelicans are being found either killed or seriously injured in two parishes. There is a threat for severe weather across Southeast Louisiana today. And a boil water advisory is still in effect for the West Bank of Jefferson Parish.

More than 20 pelicans have been found either killed or seriously injured this week. The most alarming of the cases involves a brown pelican that was nailed to a water level pole off of LA 39. (Read more)
