More than 100 small dogs in Livingston Parish need homes. Here's how you can help

The dogs are Chihuahua, terrier and hound mixes of all ages, including puppies.

NEW ORLEANS — Animal rescue groups across Southeast Louisiana are asking for your help on Thursday.

A family in Holden, which is in Livingston Parish, is no longer able to care for their more than 100 dogs.

Thursday morning, several rescue groups and shelters out of New Orleans, Metairie, Baton Rouge, and Livingston, began collecting the dogs.       

They are asking for your help with adoption or donations for all the veterinary care they need.

The dogs are Chihuahua, terrier and hound mixes of all ages, including puppies.
