METAIRIE, La. — The Oak Ridge Boys, Cheap Trick, and Amy Grant will headline the 2024 Family Gras in February with a three-day concert.
Family Gras is a free event featuring the spectacle of Mardi Gras parades, cuisine, local art, a kid's court, along with outdoor concerts and Louisiana favorites.
Six-time Grammy Award winning artist Amy Grant will play on Saturday, Feb. 3. Her set will feature music from her three multi-platinum albums, including her number one hits. Following Grant will be Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Cheap Trick. The rock band will perform fan favorites including, "California Man", "Dream Police", "Surrender” and "I Want You To Want Me."
As Family Gras said, "Sunday is country day" and the Revisiting Creedence will hit the stage on Feb. 4. They will perform top songs like , “Down on the Corner”, “Born on the Bayou”, “Who'll Stop the Rain”,.
Following the rock band is the vocal quartet, The Oak Ridge Boys, who created dozens of country hits and top the charts, earning them Grammy, CMA, Dove, and ACM awards.
Closing the festival will be Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line. Hubbard has 19 No.1 hits and festival-goers can expect to hear songs like, “Cruise”, “Everybody Needs A Bar”, and "Dancin’ In The Country".
The 16th annual festival will also feature local artists including Mad City, the Creole String Beans, Amanda Shaw and Zebra.
Every concert evening will end with Jefferson Parish's pageantry of carnival parades to Mardi Gras Plaza.
The festival starts Friday, Feb. 2 and ends on Sunday, Feb. 4 at Mardi Gras Plaza, 3300 block of Veterans Memorial Boulevard, across from Lakeside Shopping Center.
