NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide in the Seventh Ward on Saturday afternoon, police say.
The shooting occurred at the intersection of North Rocheblave and Pauger streets around 6:20 p.m.
Officers found a man lying in a vacant lot suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, police say.
Investigators are searching for a motive and suspect or suspects.
