TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. — Tangipahoa Parish officials say road crews are responding to reports of high water in several areas of the parish.
Parish officials urged residents not to drive through flood waters or to go around barricades if a roadway has been posted for flood risk.
The following roads are posted for high water/flooding in Tangipahoa Parish:
- Singing Waters Road by the bridge in Husser
- Brown Road from F Joiner to Wells in Ponchatoula
- Dunson Road from Scarlett Lane to Vasquez in Ponchatoula
- Dunson Place at Dunson in Ponchatoula
- Ridgdell Road from LA 22 to Jones Lane in Ponchatoula
- Chappapeela Road in Loranger
- Byers Road in Bedico
- Thompson Road from Ciolino Lane to the I-55 Service Road in Hammond
- East Yellow Water Road from Club Deluxe to Lumino in Hammond
- Turnpike Road at the Tangipahoa/St. Tammany Parish line
- South Airport Road from Chapman to Sisters Road in Ponchatoula
- South Coburn Road from Bauers Lane to Twin Oaks Drive in Hammond
- Sisters Road from Yokum Road to Sharon Road
- Chemekette Road from Hwy 190 to Camp Chemeketee Road in Robert
- Booker Road No. 2 from Gorman to Hwy 190 in Hammond
- Shingle Mill Road in Ponchatoula

Pine Hill Road in Hammond was closed Wednesday afternoon but has reopened. Crews removed a tree that had fallen in the roadway.
