HOUMA, La. – Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest Tuesday of a Houma man they believe is connected to two separate shootings.
Michael Diggs, 18, was arrested and booked with the murders of John Derjean and Troy Deroche. Both men were murdered within minutes of each other in two shootings, said investigators. Both men were shot multiple times.
Two other people were also injured in the incidents. Investigators said there were two other victims who were able to escape unharmed.
Diggs is facing two counts of second-degree murder and four counts of attempted second-degree murder.
