LAFOURCHE PARISH, La. — A woman was rescued in Golden Meadow on Thursday after she reported she was stuck in her home and had no food left, according to Lafourche Parish Fire District 3.
Firefighters went to the woman's home around 1:40 p.m. and said the home was "below the floodgates."
Crews helped to get the woman out of the home. The Lafourche Concert and Events Club provided the woman emergency shelter.
