LAFOURCHE PARISH, La. – The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office announced the death of one of its lieutenants Tuesday after a battle with leukemia.
Lieutenant Courtney Curole Prevost was 35 years old. She was a shift supervisor in the patrol division where officials said she spent most of her career.
Prevost was also married to a LPSO sergeant and the mother of three.
“We ask everyone to please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers,” said the department, via a Facebook post.
