LAROSE, La. — A man was found dead inside a truck lodged in a canal on Monday after a search by Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office.
Burnell Sens II, 47, of Jefferson Parish, was the subject of a search by LPSO and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office after he was reported missing on Monday.
The search led detectives to a Larose area canal, where Sens' truck was stuck. LPSO found Sens' body inside the truck.
"Detectives are currently working to retrieve his body and vehicle," Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office said on Monday. "The investigation is ongoing."
