The krewe was originally scheduled to roll on Saturday at 5 p.m. will go Sunday afternoon at 4.

JEFFERSON, La. — Krewe of Mad Hatters has been rescheduled to Sunday after rainy weather hit on Saturday.

Mad Hatters will now roll at 4 p.m. on Sunday, instead of 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Jefferson Parish krewe will now follow the Krewe of Atlas at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

"At this time no official changes have been made to this year's Family Gras entertainment schedule," Jefferson Parish said on Thursday. "To stay updated on Family Gras, visit the Visit Jefferson Parish website at www.FamilyGras.com."

According to WWL Louisiana meteorologist Payton Malone Southeast Louisiana is expecting heavy rain Saturday afternoon.

"Saturday morning a few showers move in, so if you're heading to parades from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. showers are possible," Malone said on Thursday. "However, the heaviest rain is expected to arrive in the later afternoon and linger into the early evening."
