Thousands without power in Jefferson Parish after vehicle hits power pole

JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — Power has been restored for thousands of customers after a vehicle hit a power pole in Jefferson Parish Sunday.

Jefferson Parish Councilman At-Large Scott Walker posted on social media around noon saying that about 2,350 customers in the Airline Park Subdivision were without power.

"Entergy personnel are onsite and restoration efforts are underway," Walker said.

Walker also shared the image below of the damaged pole.
