JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — A street in Jefferson parish will be renamed after the Crawfish King Al Scramuzza.
Scramuzza is well known for his crawfish commercials for his business, Seafood City.
Thursday afternoon, Jefferson Parish officials will officially rename a portion of Marion Street outside of Johnny Bright Playground to "Al Scramuzza Way."
Scramuzza was a longtime coach at the playground, coaching for more than 36 years and winning several championships in football, baseball, soccer, and basketball.
