METAIRIE, La. — If you purchased a Powerball ticket in Metairie for Wednesday's drawing, you might want to double check your numbers.
The Louisiana Lottery Corporation says a ticket sold at the Shell station at 3501 Airline Highway is now worth $50,000.
The ticket matched four white balls plus the Powerball. The lottery company says the odds of doing so are 1 in 913,129.
The winning numbers for Wednesday's drawing are: 05-23-28-56-66 with the 17 Powerball. There was a 5x Power Play multiplier.
The advertised jackpot for Wednesday's drawing was $181.5 million.
