JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — Nearly 6,000 customers were without power in Jefferson Parish on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Entergy's outage map, 6,393 customers are impacted by the outage. Power was restored around 8 p.m.
The outage was near Veterans Boulevard and Interstate 10.
"We are aware of an outage in the Kenner area impacting approximately 6,000 customers. Crews are on site working to make repairs as quickly and safely as possible. We will share more information once it becomes available," a spokesperson for Entergy said.
Entergy did not say what caused the outage.
