HOUMA, La. — With thousands of people still without power, a number of organizations are giving away supplies. 

Here is a list of supply and food locations for people impacted by Francine:

Tyson Foods Deploys Meals that Matter ® Disaster Relief Team to Louisiana to Serve Hot Meals in Response to Hurricane Francine 

  • Friday, September 13, 2024 – Wednesday, September 18, 2024 10:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT 
    • Walmart Supercenter 1633 Martin Luther King Blvd. Houma, LA 

Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness points of distribution in areas with impacts from Hurricane Francine 

The sites will provide basic commodities (bottled water, meals ready to eat (MREs) and ice to the public.

The PODs will be in operation from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. this weekend

  • Morgan City Auditorium, 728 Myrtle St., Morgan City
  •  Terrebonne Civic Center, 346 Civic Center Blvd., Houma
  •  Montegut Recreation Gym, 107 Recreation Dr., Montegut
  •  Little Caillou Ward 7 Citizens Club, 5006 Highway 56, Chauvin
  •  Living Word Church, 1916 LA 311, Schriever
  •  Bayou Blue Fire Department- Central Station, 1870 Bayou Blue Rd., Houma

Second Harvest Food Bank Hot Food Distribution - St. John Parish

  • Parish President Jaclyn Hotard is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank to distribute food Saturday, Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. until supplies are gone. Meals will be given out at Garyville Magnet School parking lot located at 240 LA-54, Garyville, LA 70076

Drive Thru Food Giveaway at Vineyard Church in Kenner

  • Saturday, Sept. 14 starting at 9 a.m., first come, first serve. The church is located at 4340 Sal Lentini Parkway. Water, dry and canned foods and produce will be given away.

God's Pit Crew Sending Critical Relief Supplies to Louisiana

  • The crew is sending  Blessing Buckets, pallets of bottled water, drinks, and snack foods will also be included in the relief supply to Houma.
