Here is a list of Friday Fish Frys provided by the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

NEW ORLEANS — With Ash Wednesday, comes the start of Lent and also the beginning of Fish Fry events at churches around the city. 

Here is a list of Fish Fry events provided by the Archdiocese of New Orleans:


ASCENSION OF OUR LORD

799 Fairway Dr., LaPlace. Each Friday in Lent, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Drive-thru. Fried or grilled fish, Cajun-boiled corn, potatoes, $13 ($10 child’s plate). (504) 388-2452.


DIVINE MERCY PARISH

4337 Sal Lentini Pkwy Kenner, All Fridays of Lent from 11am-7pm (or until sold out). $12 per plate includes fried fish w/ seasoned boiled potatoes, corn on the cob, & dinner roll (Feb 16, Feb 23, Mar 1, Mar 8, Mar 15); $12 per plate includes choice of a fried fish plate or fried shrimp plate complete with corn and fries (Mar 22). HOLY FAMILY

OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS

 6851 River Rd., Waggaman. Feb. 16, 23; March 1, 8, 15, 22, 11 a.m-1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Eat-in or take-out only. $15 seafood plate/$13 gumbo plate. Fried fish or blackened fish plate with Cajun boiled corn, potatoes, homemade dinner roll. Shrimp and okra gumbo with potato salad, boiled corn and homemade dinner roll. Shrimp and grits plate with green beans and homemade dinner roll.

ST. AGNES

ST. ANGELA MERICI

ST. BERNARD

2805 Bayou Road, St. Bernard, Lenten seafood dinners 5-8 p.m., Feb. 16, 23; March 1, 8, 15, 22. $20-28 plates with two sides. Fried fish, fried shrimp or stuffed crab with choice of shrimp fettuccine or shrimp jambalaya, baked mac n cheese, coleslaw or green bean casserole. ST. GENEVIEVE
