MADISONVILLE, La. -- Firefighters are at the scene of a fatal blaze in St. Tammany Parish Friday morning.
The fire happened on 200 block Galatas Road, but authorities with St. Tammany Fire District #2 have not said about what time it started.
The parish coroner identified the victims as 91-year-old Robert White, and 61-year-old Adele Cooper.
Dr. Charles Preston said White would have turned 92 on Sunday. Their identities were confirmed by a family member who was at the home but escaped the fire, Preston added.
