In the midst of all of the devastation in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the news that thirty-five elderly people had droned at the St. Rita Nursing Home in St. Bernard, seemed the most tragic.
It also seemed obvious who was responsible for those deaths, nursing home owners Sal and Mable Mangano.
Former Defense Attorney James Cobb, who is now an author has written a book about the story that came out after the trial, and he joins the Eyewitness Morning News to talk about his book, Flood of Lies.
