NEW ORLEANS — Seven people were inside an Algiers home when a driver crashed through the wall according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Police say it happened at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of JoAnn Place. Initial reports show that the NOPD responded to a call regarding a driver of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle crashing into a home.
Two adults and five juveniles were among the people involved in the crash.
It is unclear if anyone was injured but NOPD says medical care was “refused on the scene”.
NOPD officers issued three citations to the driver for the crash but did not say what those citations regarded as relating to the crash.
