KENNER, La. — Interstate 10 westbound has reopened following a crash on the Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge involving an 18-wheeler.
All lanes are now open on I-10 WB on the Bennet Carre Spillway.
The crash closed I-10 WB between I-310 Boutte/Houma/exit 220 and I-55/exit 210 due to an accident involving an 18-wheeler near MM 213 on the westbound side.
Few details are available but there is a report of at least one person injured.
Drivers were urged to take an alternate route to Airline Highway while traffic on I-10 was diverted to I-310 which caused major delays for early morning commuters.
