COVINGTON, La. — Northlake Christian School has canceled classes for Tuesday, Sept. 3 due to an electrical fire, school officials said.
Students in Pre-K through 12th grade will not have class on Tuesday, but regularly scheduled practices and rehearsals will still be held.
It comes after a fire damaged the elementary school building on Saturday morning. Temporary classroom spaces are currently being prepared in hopes that students can return to campus on Wednesday.
