BATON ROUGE, La. — TikTok influencer Keith Lee told his 16.3 million followers that he's in Louisiana and looking for restaurants to try in Baton Rouge.

Lee is on a food tour, traveling to different cities across the country and visiting local food spots.

Recently, he visited Miami and Las Vegas.

Now, Lee is ready to chow down in Baton Rouge. He asked his followers to recommend restaurants for him to try.

"We're going to be in Baton Rouge. So if you or somebody you know, knows a mom-and-pop shop or a restaurant that's family-owned that has great food and great customer service, but could use the marketing for absolutely free to them, please let me know."

Last year, Lee visited New Orleans in August, making stops in different neighborhoods based on recommendations from friends, local influencers and direct messages.

In December, he ranked The Big Easy as the No. 1 food city.

"In my opinion what set New Orleans apart ... was the customer service," Lee said. "Everywhere we went, we felt like family. It felt like I was going to my cousin's house."

Houston came in second on Lee's ranking, followed by Chicago in third.

Here are the spots Keith Lee ate at while visiting New Orleans:

  • Palace Cafe on Canal Street
  • Monday in Mid-City
  • B Sweet Bistro in the French Quarter
  • AJ's Jazzy Grill in the Seventh Ward
  • Kajunlicious Food Therapy in Gentilly
  • Sweet Thangs NOLA on Claiborne
  • Stamp Dat Seafood in St. Charles Parish
