2 High School Football games moved to the Superdome due to weather impact

Instead of canceling the games between John Curtis and Rabun Gap schools and Archbishop Rummel and Lafayette Christian, they are moved to the Superdome.

NEW ORLEANS — Two High School Football games scheduled to play at The Shrine on Airline, are now moved to the Superdome due to expected rain.

All day long weather has impacted the New Orleans metro area.

Instead of canceling the back-to-back games between John Curtis and Rabun Gap schools and Archbishop Rummel and Lafayette Christian, those games are now moved to the Caesars Superdome.

With the natural grass field saturated at the Shrine, Louisiana Stadium and Exposition District officials moved the two games out of caution for player and fan safety.

Here is important information from LSED on the games moved.

Tonight’s Caesars Superdome Schedule:

  • Gate Open: 4:00 PM Gate F Exterior Plaza
  • Game 1 Kickoff: 5:00 PM John Curtis Christian and Rabun Gap (SC)
  • Game 2: Archbishop Rummel and Lafayette Christian will follow the end of Game 1

Ticketing: All advanced tickets will be honored.

Gameday tickets can be purchased at Caesars Superdome Gate F Plaza and are available through the individual schools.

  • Parking: All guests will park in Garage 5. Parking is $10.00 and can be purchased
  • with a debit &credit card. Cash will not be accepted.
  • Entrance: All fans with enter through Gate F Plaza.
  • Seating: General Admission Open Seating (west sideline plaza)
  • Concessions: Limited concessions will be available on the West Side of the Plaza Level
  • Concourse.
  • Clear Bag Policy: All bags are prohibited other than clear vinyl bags no larger than 12" wide x 12" height x 6" deep, Gallon Size Ziploc Bags (Limit 1 of either) or Small Clutch Purses no larger than 4.5" x 6.5.” Non-clear Diaper bags are prohibited

Cashless Operations: The Caesars Superdome is a cashless operation including all concessions,

merchandise, and parking. Cash will not be accepted as a form of

payment at any parking, retail, or concession locations within Caesars

Superdome. Guests may convert their cash to a MasterCard at a kiosk in Gate B Atrium 100 Level.

MasterCards are sold at a minimum of $20 and a maximum of $500 and can be used at any POS location in the building including merchandise. Any remaining balance on the debit card can be used at locations where debit payments are accepted.
