NEW ORLEANS -- The family of an RTA worker who was murdered on Christmas night is pleading for help to find his killer.
New Orleans Police say 26-year-old Christopher Watson was gunned down near the intersection of Bienville and Broad Streets. Investigators say Watson was driving to work at the RTA when someone opened fire.
His wife says he was a hard-working man who never made any trouble.
"Somebody saw something, I promise somebody saw something," said wife Dominique Watson while fighting back tears. "There's no way, this street is busy all the time. Somebody saw something, could you please call, turn in anything."
Police say there was a maroon or dark-colored sedan seen speeding near that area the night of the shooting.
There is no motive in the case.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
