“‘The Rolling Stones at Jazz Fest’ is a long-held prophecy coming true. The Festival thanks Mick, Keith, Ronnie, and Concerts West, for their steadfast dedication to making this once-in-a-lifetime Jazz Fest magic. The pilgrimage starts today, come get satisfied,” said Quint Davis, Producer/Director of Jazz Fest.

Jazz Fest is scheduled for April 25 – 28 and May 2 – 5. May 2 will have a limited capacity and tickets are expected to sell quickly.

The complete music lineup for the 2024 Jazz Fest will be announced in January.

It has been no small feat to bring the Stones to The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Twice, they were booked to headline the festival but canceled for varying reasons.

The Rolling Stones were originally scheduled to play at the 2019 festival but canceled because frontman Mick Jagger needed heart surgery. They later performed a separate New Orleans show in July 2019.

The festival was cancelled in 2020 and in 2021 when the festival was back on, The Stones were again headliners but the festival was cancelled yet again due to the pandemic.

The Stones join this year’s Jazz Fest lineup as they announce their latest tour dates and the release of their latest album of original music 18 years after 2005’s “A Bigger Bang”.

Titled “Hackney Diamonds,” the band released it at an event in East London’s Hackney district where Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood were interviewed about the album live on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon.
