NEW ORLEANS — A woman was shot on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Alcee Fortier and Chef Menteur Highway.
NOPD said they received a call around 3:40 p.m. and confirmed the shooting at 4:00 p.m.
Officers said the woman suffered at least one gunshot wound and taken to a nearby hospital.
