NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a woman injured in Central City.
Investigators say it happened at about 7:36 a.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard.
Initial reports show an adult female suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital by EMS.
There is no additional information available at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
