BATON ROUGE, La. — A Baton Rouge woman was arrested in Mississippi Wednesday after she was accused of shooting and killing her girlfriend the day before, according to WBRZ.

Danielle Bell, 27, was arrested in Mississippi and booked for second-degree murder in connection to the incident on Tuesday, Mar. 5.

Baton Rouge police were called after a shooting was reported in a home on Stan Avenue. When police showed up at the home, they found 27-year-old Brittany Williams shot dead.

Police said they found " fresh tire tracks from a large trailer rig and spent shell casings leading from the victim's car to where the tire tracks started. Surveillance video showed Williams being shot from someone in an 18-wheeler," our partners reported.

According to WBRZ, Bell was a truck driver who was reportedly in a long-term relationship with Williams. Family members said the two had been arguing just before Williams was shot and killed.
