NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide after a woman was run over by a driver Mardi Gras night.
It happened in the 3400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in the Hoffman Triangle neighborhood shortly after 10 p.m.
Police say a man ran the woman with his vehicle. She was taken to the hospital by EMS where she later died.
Investigators have not identified the man or said if an arrest has been made or if they have identified the driver.
