WAGGAMAN, La. — A youth was killed in a triple shooting in Jefferson Parish Friday night, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office said two others were hurt and transported to the hospital.
The apparent triple shooting happened at 11:15 p.m. on Daffodil Lane in Waggaman where the young person was killed. He had been found dead at the scene by JPSO deputies.
Another juvenile had been hurt, according to JPSO, as well as an adult.
"(JPSO deputies) located 3 victims, one male juvenile who was unresponsive, and two others suffering from wounds considered life threatening," JPSO officials said early Saturday morning. "The unresponsive victim was pronounced dead on the scene, while the other two (one adult, one juvenile) were transported to the hospital."
