NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department responded to a shooting just before 8 p.m. on Sunday night in the Maryville-Fontainbleau neighborhood near Gert Town.
According to police, the shooting occurred in the 3100 block of College Court.
A female victim suffered a gunshot wound on the body and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
