NEW ORLEANS — Nearly four-dozen seminarians, priests and faculty at Notre Dame Seminary in Broadmoor were cleaning up on Friday morning after their cars were broken into before dawn.
The break-ins are the latest in a stubborn trend New Orleans police have had trouble getting under control in recent months.
Sarah McDonald, a spokeswoman for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, said 41 cars were broken into at the seminary about 4:45 a.m.
She said the crimes were captured on camera, and the video has been turned over to the NOPD.
There are no reports yet of anything being stolen from any vehicles, McDonald said.
