NEW ORLEANS — Two men were shot dead in the West Lake Forest neighborhood on Saturday, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Officers said the shooting happened in the 6700 block of Tara Lane around 4:25 p.m. When they arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds outside an apartment.
EMS said both victims died on the scene. NOPD said they will be taken to the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office and their identities will be released at a later time.
