A triple shooting at a home in Marrero leaves one man dead and two other men wounded.
Sheriff Joseph Lopinto reports that the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred Saturday morning in Marrero.
"Just after 3:30 a.m., deputies were called to the 1100 block of Candlelight Drive in Marrero after 3 men were shot inside a residence. Deputies located three adult males suffering from gunshot wounds" said an initial JPSO report.
One person was pronounced dead by EMS on the scene, while the other two were transported to the hospital for treatment. Their condition is unknown.
The shooting is currently under investigation.
