NEW ORLEANS — Three men were wounded in a shooting in a busy part of downtown New Orleans on Thursday.
It happened in broad daylight just before 2 p.m.
The New Orleans Police Department says a fight broke out between several people in the 800 block of Canal Street.
At least one person pulled a gun and started firing. He hit three adult males. The men were hit in the stomach, backside and hand. Police say they have non-life-threatening injuries and are all locals - not visitors, according to NOPD.
Investigators are still reviewing camera footage to determine how many shooters were involved.
