KENNER, La. — Police in Kenner announced they arrested three men allegedly walking down the street with AR-15-style pistols and drugs.

On Thursday, the Kenner Police Department says dispatch received a 911 call about three ‘suspicious individuals’ in the 700 block of Vouray Drive.

“The caller stated three people were walking in the area and it appeared they were carrying firearms. Officers immediately responded and located Marvin Hamilton, 24, of Metairie, Cedric Alexander, 23, of Metairie, and Tyrone Jackson, 32, also from Metairie. The officer’s investigation revealed that the subjects had 2 AR 15 loaded pistols and approximately 108 grams of marijuana,” said a report from the Kenner Police Department.

The men were arrested and charged with drug and weapons charges.

Through the investigation, officers also arrested Raheem Williams, 31, of Kenner for being a felon in possession of a firearm and as a fugitive out of Jefferson Parish.

“No matter what your opinion of marijuana is, everybody should be alarmed when these guys are that brazen to walk down a street fully armed with AR-15 pistols, especially in Kenner,” stated Chief Conley. “If you see something, say something and together we can keep Kenner safe!”
