TERREBONNE PARISH, La. — A Thibodaux man is wanted by both the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office and the Thibodaux Police Department after drugs were found in a home and an abandoned car was found with a handgun inside.

Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding, Kentrell Dominic Young, 39, who is wanted on multiple felony-related charges. Thibodaux Police said they teamed up with the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office on March 13 and did a search warrant in a home in the 100 block of Louisa Drive, in Thibodaux.

Deputies say they found drugs inside, but Young was nowhere to be found. After they got a tip that Young was near an apartment complex in Terrebonne Parish, they found a car with amounts of "Methamphetamines, Heroin, Marijuana, and a handgun inside the vehicle."

Authorities believe Young was going to sell the drugs.

The sheriff's office is offering a $1,000 cash reward for any information that could lead to Young's arrest.
