AUSTIN, Texas — A man, who cut off his ankle monitor and went on the run, was caught in Texas and is in the custody of Austin police, according to the bail bondsman.
Darwin Gonzales-Munoz, 27, will be transferred to Houston before returning to New Orleans, said Matthew Dennis, Director of Enforcement with the ankle monitoring company Assured Supervision Accountability Program.
