NEW ORLEANS — Two teenagers were injured in a shooting in the Lower Ninth Ward the New Orleans Police Department reports.
It happened at about 11:06 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of Benton Street.
Initial reports show that the teens were inside the residence when they heard shots being fired in the backyard. The shots came through the back window striking both victims. They were taken by private conveyance to the hospital.
One victim is an 18-year-old male with graze wounds and the other is a 17-year-old male with two non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
