NEW ORLEANS — A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot Friday night in the 7600 block of Vincent Road.
NOPD said they received a call around 7:09 p.m. and confirmed at 7:20 p.m.
Officers said the victim suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to a nearby hospital.
Our partners at Nola.com later reported that the teen, later identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office as Carl O'Neal Jr., died at the hospital within an hour.
