NEW ORLEANS — The NOPD and a U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested a suspect in Houston for the deadly shooting at Mandina's restaurant that took the life of a waiter and left a customer badly injured.
Kyron Fazande, 22, was arrested at a residence in Houston Monday morning.
Fazande is accused of the shooting outside of Mandina's that killed 23-year-old Hilbert Walker III and wounded a 54-year-old woman inside.
The press release said that Fazande will be extradited to New Orleans to be booked into the Orleans Justice Center on charges of Second Degree Murder, Aggravated Battery and Attempted Second Degree Murder.
The NOPD has no other information to share currently and is still investigating.
