METAIRIE, La. — A man is in custody after allegedly crashing a stolen car into a Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle and attempting to flee on foot in the 2200 block of Edenborn Avenue in Metairie.
According to the JPSO, the incident occurred at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Thursday.
The suspect was later arrested.
A JPSO deputy was injured during the incident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
