NEW ORLEANS — A man was shot to death near a Waffle House in the St. Roch neighborhood Saturday morning, police said.
NOPD investigators said the shooting took place near the intersection of Frenchman and Abundance streets.
Police said the victim had at least one gunshot wound when they arrived.
A witness near the scene said the killing took place sometime around 11:30 a.m.
The victim has not been identified pending notification of his next of kin.
