ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH, La. — One man is dead after a crash Thursday night on US 61 in St. John the Baptist Parish, according to State Police Troop B.
State police said the accident happened around 10:40 p.m. near LA 54 in Garyville. Conrad Jones of Reserve, 44, died in the crash.
Jones was driving a 2006 Ford pickup when his truck ran off the road, "traveled through a ditch, and rolled over multiple times."
Troop B said Jones was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital where he later died.
