COVINGTON, La. — A Covington man pleaded guilty on Wednesday and was sentenced to 35 years in prison for sexual abusing two girls -- ages 11 and 8-- according to the Northshore district attorney's office.
Tristian Foster, 43, of Covington had been charged with sexual battery of a victim under 13, aggravated crime against nature and indecent behavior with juveniles.
The 11-year-old victim reported Foster's behavior to a teacher at Pine View Middle School in Covington after a sleepover. From there, the case was eventually picked up by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office.
"She said that he had unclasped her bra and told her to remove her clothes stating, 'you better be naked when I return,'" Northshore District Attorney Collin Sims said on Thursday. "She also said the defendant tickled her and touched her inappropriately."
Another victim was only 8 years old. She had been interviewed at the Hope House and was medically evaluated at a Children's Hospital in New Orleans.
"She disclosed that the defendant had sex with her approximately a year prior, when she was eight," The Northshore district attorney said. "She said that it hurt, she could barely breathe and, 'he wouldn't accept no as an answer.'"
According to the district attorney prosecuting the case, the 43-year-old Foster did not deny the allegations but said that he could not remember abusing either girl because he drank a lot of alcohol.
