NEW ORLEANS — A rideshare driver was robbed at gunpoint after picking up two women in New Orleans Friday morning.
According to an NOPD report, the victim - an Uber driver - was approached by two women at the intersection of Toulouse Street and Bourbon Street.
The driver then took them to the 1900 block of Elysian Fields Avenue, where an alleged argument broke out between him and the two female suspects.
Police say during the altercation, one of the female suspects threw his phone out of the window.
A third male suspect arrived in a separate vehicle and brandished a gun, while one of the female suspects stole the rideshare driver’s personal belongings.
The three suspects fled the scene in the suspect's vehicle.
