A patient at a Baton Rouge hospital has been arrested for allegedly killing a nurse.
According to our partners at WBRZ, 54-year-old Jessie Guillory got into a fight with a different hospital worker at Baton Rouge General's Behavioral Health Unit when Lynne Truxillo tried to intervene.
Guillory grabbed her by the neck and hit her head against a desk, according to arrest records.
Truxillo died about a week later, on April 11, from blood clots the coroner said were a results of her injuries in the fight at the hospital. The coroner's report said clots in her right knee and lungs blocked off an artery, killing her.
