NEW ORLEANS — One person was shot in the 7800 block of Sand Street on Friday night.
NOPD said they responded to a call at 10:13 p.m. and confirmed the shooting at 10:21 p.m.
Officers said the victim was shot one time and is being treated by EMS on the scene.
NOPD said the sex of the victim is unknown at this time.
